Results of ABmunis’ 2022 Resolutions session

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Resolutions session at Alberta Municipalities’ 2022 Convention.

All the resolutions that were considered, as well as the results, are available in the Resolutions Library. Using electronic voting, roughly 500 elected officials representing member municipalities from across Alberta actively contributed to the resolution outcomes. Thank you to everyone who contributed to steering ABmunis’ policy efforts for the coming year.

Alberta Municipalities will forward adopted resolutions to the relevant provincial ministers and other organizations once a new Cabinet is announced following the UCP leadership contest, which concludes October 6. Our standing policy committees will review responses and recommend any further action to ABmunis’ Board based on a prioritization framework outlined in our new resolutions policy. We will provide more information on our action on resolutions through The Weekly and Resolutions web page.
