Join Alberta Municipalities for a dialogue on the first Future of Municipal Government (FOMG) research paper to be released, Organizing Canadian Local Government, by registering for a webinar taking place on Thursday, May 26 from 2:30 to 4:00 featuring the author Zachary Spicer. 

Organizing Canadian Local Government is a foundational paper in the FOMG project as it provides an overview of the models of municipal government that are found in Canada and suggests government principles and considerations that can be used to assess those models.

The webinar is an opportunity to hear from Dr. Spicer on his research, discuss how Alberta’s governance models stack up against the criteria set up on his paper, and imagine opportunities for enhancements to our municipal organizations going forward.
