Almost 50 Intermunicipal Collaboration Frameworks submitted a year before deadline.

Municipalities that share a common boundary must adopt Intermunicipal Collaboration Framework (ICF) bylaws by April 1, 2020.  As of March 19, municipalities have submitted 45 ICFs to Municipal Affairs using the electronic submission form.

AUMA and RMA worked with the Ministry to develop an ICF Workbook and Templates to assist municipalities in negotiating intermunicipal development and service delivery with neighbouring municipalities.
