AMSC ready with support for municipalities in emergencies
Alberta is well into wildfire and extreme weather season. Parts of our province are currently experiencing event conditions that are having an impact on municipalities. AUMA continues to monitor conditions in these areas and are ready to support our members and partners should they need us.
The AMSC Claims team is at the ready with a team of insurance adjusters, damage appraisers, building restoration teams, and other resources as required. Should your community be under an advisory, please insurance [at] auma.ca (contact us) as soon as possible to make sure we can assist with rapid resource deployment.
Prevention and community resilience are key to ensuring the well-being of residents, businesses, and critical infrastructure. This is also an excellent opportunity to educate residents and municipal staff on how to prevent and prepare for emergencies. A great message for residents is to be prepared year-round for 72-hours of disruption– that includes pets and other animals.
Feel free to reach out to your AMSC claims team at 310-AUMA. We have also included a brief list of resources for residents to get information in real-time. Please feel free to share it within your community.
