Do you aspire to be the voice of Alberta municipalities on a national level? Here’s your chance!
FCM is seeking nominations for provincial and territorial representatives but AUMA knows that serving on the FCM Board of Directors can be a financial challenge, especially for elected officials in smaller communities. That’s why AUMA is offering sponsorship for a successful candidate representing Alberta.
To qualify for AUMA sponsorship, you must be an elected official from an AUMA member municipality with a population of less than 10,000.
If you are successful in your campaign to represent Alberta on the FCM Board of Directors, AUMA will reimburse you for travel expenses (e.g. hotel, airfare, meals) related to FCM Board meetings. Expense claims must include a written report outlining any key activities or discussions that took place at the respective meeting.
Note: AUMA covers expenses only. There is no honorarium for attendance.
