Alberta Municipalities' Economic Strategy Committee received a presentation from the Modular Housing Association Prairie Provinces at its December 2024 meeting. Committee members and representatives from the association discussed the information brief on modular and manufactured homes released by Alberta Municipal Affairs in October 2024.
The provincial government's two-page guide, Affordable & Attainable Housing: How modular & manufactured homes can be part of the solution, provides an overview of what municipalities should consider as they take local action to address housing affordability.
