Ed Sosnowski resigns from AUMA Board
On April 26, the AUMA Board of Directors voted in favour of accepting the resignation of Ed Sosnowski, Mayor of the Village of Myrnam, who served as Director, Villages East, and Chair of the AUMA Audit and Finance Committee. The resignation is effective immediately.
“Ed was a valued member of the AUMA Board and contributed significantly as Director, Villages East,” says Barry Morishita, AUMA President. “We thank Ed for his services and contributions to AUMA and our membership. He will be missed greatly and we all wish him well.”
The Board voted unanimously to leave the Director, Villages East position vacant until the elections as part of the annual convention taking place in September. In the interim, Bruce McLeod, Director, Villages South, and Angela Duncan, Director, Villages West, will help cover the vacancy.
The Board also appointed Mohinder Banga as the Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee. Peter Pellatt was appointed to the committee to fill the role of AUMA Board Representative and Vice Chair.
