Election experience survey will help create safe spaces for women in government

Elections may be over, but the need to promote safe spaces for women in politics continues, and elected officials can all make a contribution. The Alberta Council of Women’s Shelters (ACWS) is inviting elected officials to take a survey about their experiences during the elections.

ACWS also offers training for municipalities on issues relating to domestic violence – including how to implement the recent changes in labour laws in your municipality.
