Happy National Volunteer Week!!

AUMA is very pleased to celebrate the people who give  their own time to strengthen communities, our volunteers. This week is for you. Happy National Volunteer Week!

Volunteers are an integral part of the success of any community. In this time of physical distancing, volunteers remain diligent in sharing virtually and adapting to new ways of community building.

You might be surprised at how many hours you have spent volunteering. Perhaps you help out with a bottle drive, or support fundraising by volunteering at bingos and casinos, or help to make a local parade run just a little smoother. Whatever it is you do, your efforts are an extremely important contribution to the success of our communities.

Thank-you to the youth, the seniors, and everyone who is helping to strengthen communities by sharing their skills and time.

Did you know that there are over 1,000 Alberta not-for-profit organizations whose operations are supported through AUMA? Many of these organizations rely on the talents of volunteers who provide vital support to the success of their organizations.
