Alberta Municipalities will host its President’s Summit on March 5, 2025, in Edmonton. This year’s summit will focus on civility and feature presentations from experts on topics such as conflict resolution, harassment, and mental health.
One of our breakout sessions will be led by award-winning speaker Tracy Lorenson, who is known for her humour and candour in helping clients manage difficult situations. With a keen interest in problem-solving, Tracey has developed a series of proven techniques that help organizations identify their issues and take action to improve their situation. Her session, From Discord to Harmony: Mastering Conflict in Local Government, will focus on strategies for managing disagreements, fostering collaboration and maintaining professionalism.
