Members discuss ICFs and Resolutions at Summer MLC caucus
The summer MLC caucus is a wrap! AUMA would like to thank all attendees for contributing to the engaging discussions we had.
During the sessions, we heard there are many communities that are having difficulty developing Intermunicipal Collaboration Framework (ICFs), while other communities are progressing well. We urge those communities that are having difficulty to advocacy [at] auma.ca (inform us) so we can explore options to provide assistance. Those communities that a have ICFs, cost sharing agreements or other helpful documents completed are asked to advocacy [at] auma.ca (send examples) so we can share tips and best practices for implementing ICFs with others.
Draft changes to AUMA’s resolution policy were also discussed. Members may still provide feedback on the draft resolutions policy by emailing resolutions [at] auma.ca (resolutions[at]auma[dot]ca). The last day to submit feedback is July 15.
We look forward to seeing you at our Annual Trade Show and Convention to be held in Edmonton from September 25-27, 2019.
