New resolution on taxation of intermunicipal cost-sharing agreements

An updated version of the 2019 Resolutions Book is now available in both PDF and Word formats. It includes an extraordinary resolution from the Town of Peace River on taxation of intermunicipal cost-sharing agreements (see page 57).

The new version also includes content for the resolution on mobile home sites co-sponsored by the Towns of Okotoks and Hinton (see page 41). In addition, the Town of High River has withdrawn their resolution, entitled Release Revised Flood Mapping and Approved Flood Developed Regulation.

We encourage all councillors to discuss the resolutions with your colleagues and come prepared to debate and vote on the resolutions at AUMA Convention (September 25-27). The process considering resolutions is outlined in the Resolutions policy included in the book, starting on page 10.
