Provincial Consultation on Emergency Management Act

The Province is proposing changes to the Emergency Management Act and tabled Bill 8 in the Legislature on April 3, 2018. At the time, the Government indicated that it would be consulting with municipalities and stakeholders over the summer with the legislation being debated in the fall sitting.

There are currently sessions scheduled for elected officials and administration. The sessions will take place as follows:

Lethbridge – June 25, 2018
Calgary – June 26, 2018
Edmonton – June 28, 2018
