Register for Nov. 30 virtual town hall meeting with President Gandam
Regular members of Alberta Municipalities will have an opportunity to hear from President Tyler Gandam at a members-only virtual town hall meeting on Thursday, November 30.
The online Zoom session will run from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. A Q&A session will follow a brief presentation on:
- ABmunis' efforts to date regarding the Government of Alberta’s online surveys on potential changes to the Local Authorities Elections Act (LAEA) and Municipal Government Act (MGA). The survey closes on December 6.
- Member involvement in advocating for an increase in the Local Government Fiscal Framework (LGFF) starting base amount.
- ABmunis’ submission to the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) on renewable energy developments.
President Gandam will take questions from the virtual floor following his initial remarks.
