Submit your resolutions by June 30

The June 30 deadline for submitting resolutions is approaching. Please send us your municipality’s resolution today.

Please keep in mind that AUMA’s updated Resolutions Policy requires a resolution that is sponsored by a single member’s council to be seconded by another member’s council. Check out AUMA’s 2020 Resolutions Guide and Template for guidance on preparing a resolution.

All resolutions published in the 2020 Resolutions Book will be voted on by members at Convention in the fall. The format of the 2020 Convention is yet to be determined. AUMA staff are closely monitoring the directions from all levels of government related to the COVID-19 pandemic and will continue to consider and develop a plan for the event over the coming weeks and months.  

Members are encouraged to reach out to advocacy [at] auma.ca (AUMA staff) for assistance and/or to submit resolutions as soon as possible so we can ensure each resolution meets the criteria set out in our Resolutions Policy.
