Trust = Collaboration? Share Your Opinion
AUMA supports the need for effective intermunicipal collaboration as a necessary ingredient for municipal viability. We know collaboration is not always easy, especially between municipalities with competing values and/or perspectives on how to best serve their residents.
A Royal Roads University Ph.D. student (who will be familiar to many of you) is undertaking research on “trust and its impact on collaboration in the Alberta local government context”.
To contribute to this research and share your opinion, please complete this online survey by July 13: https://forms.gle/CyA5mrcucrMBTUWT9. The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete and focuses on what you think about trust and collaboration in local government.
The researcher leading the project has committed to sharing the results with AUMA, which we will use to assess opportunities to enhance Intermunicipal Collaboration Frameworks (ICFs) and get the most out of the work that has been done by municipalities to complete them.
