Upcoming changes as a result of Bill 17: The Fair and Family-friendly Workplaces Act
On January 1, 2018, changes to Alberta’s Employment Standards Code will come into effect as a result of Bill 17: The Fair and Family-friendly Workplaces Act. The changes reflect the evolution of the workplace since the legislation was last updated in 1988 and aim to bring Alberta in line with many other provinces.
