Upcoming EPR Webinars

Now that the province is seeking input from stakeholders on the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) approach to recycling, do you have questions about an EPR packaging and paper program?  

On April 13, the Recycling Council of Alberta is hosting a webinar on EPR impacts and opportunities for Alberta municipalities. The webinar will be moderated by City of Calgary Councillor Peter Demong, who is also the Chair of the AUMA Sustainability and Environment Committee and a member of the AUMA Board of Directors.

If you are unable to attend that or want to learn more, tune in on April 20 to the Exploring EPR Impacts on Waste and Recycling Providers. This webinar will explore the impacts of EPR on waste and recycling providers by bringing together industry players involved in the transition from municipal collection (recycling contracts) to an EPR packaging and paper program operated by a Producer Responsibility Organization.
