Update from the Legislature - September 15
The provincial government announced that starting tomorrow Albertans will be able to access their Covid-19 vaccination records in a card-sized printout through the MyHealthRecords digital app. The province also announced that in the coming weeks a QR code will be made available to Albertans show proof of vaccination.
Incentives:
Earlier this week the province also formally launched a previously announced incentive program with eligible individuals being able to register for a $100 debit card for receiving a first or second does of Covid-19 vaccine between September 3 and October 14.
The third $1 million lottery for Albertans who have received two doses of vaccine and are aged 18 closes on September 23. To register and for complete details, visit alberta.ca/lottery. The final draw closes Sept. 23.
Vaccination Progress:
As of September 13, 79.4 per cent of eligible Albertans had one dose of vaccine and 71.3 per cent were fully immunized with two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
