2024 Minister's Awards for Transportation Innovation
The 2024 Minister’s Awards for Transportation Innovation (MATI), which recognize innovative people and organizations within Alberta's transportation industry, are now open for submissions.
The annual awards celebrate the accomplishments of Albertans and Alberta-based organizations that plan, design, construct, operate, and maintain the transportation network within the province. They recognize demonstrated excellence in design, construction, environmental, safety, operational, or transit/accessible transportation innovations.
The 2024 MATI Nomination Guidelines & Form are available on Alberta Transportation’s website. Nominations are due by noon on January 26, 2024.
Alberta Municipalities, Rural Municipalities of Alberta, the Consulting Engineers of Alberta (CEA), and the Alberta Roadbuilders and Heavy Construction Association will work with Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors to evaluate submitted projects.
The awards will be presented at the CEA’s 2024 Transportation Connects Alberta Conference banquet, which will take place at the Edmonton Convention Centre on March 11, 2024.
