ABmunis’ water plan recognized by provincial government

Last week, Alberta Municipalities received a letter from Minister of Environment and Protected Areas Rebecca Schulz, recognizing the valuable role our Water Conservation, Efficiency, and Productivity (CEP) Plan plays in addressing drought and improving water availability across Alberta.

The completion of our updated CEP plan comes at a crucial time, coinciding with the first phase of Alberta Environment and Protected Area's water availability engagements. This revised plan sets measurable goals to enhance water conservation, with clear, data-driven targets to track progress.

Alberta Municipalities remains committed to working closely with the ministry to support the successful implementation of the Water CEP Plan.
