Drought preparations underway

Alberta Municipalities thanks the Government of Alberta for preparing for a potentially severe province-wide drought this year.

Here are some useful links to help members stay informed as preparations continue:

• The provincial government's Drought web page provides useful up-to-date information, including a recorded presentation of the current forecast, the preparation plan and specific information for municipalities.
• Reports on specific watersheds throughout Alberta are available. Click here to sign up for regular updates.

ABmunis will participate in a series of water-sharing agreement meetings taking place in February and March.
