Last call: Nov. 30 ABmunis virtual town hall meeting
If you plan to take part in Alberta Municipalities’ virtual town hall meeting for Regular members on Thursday, November 30, time is running out to register.
The online Zoom session will run from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
President Tyler Gandam will talk about:
- ABmunis' efforts to encourage Albertans to complete two Government of Alberta online surveys about potential changes to the Local Authorities Elections Act (LAEA) and Municipal Government Act (MGA). The surveys close on December 6.
- Member involvement in advocating for an increase in the Local Government Fiscal Framework (LGFF) starting base amount.
- ABmunis’ submission to the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) on renewable energy developments.
A ‘Question & Answer’ session will follow President Gandam’s presentation.
