Update from the Legislature – February 28, 2024
The first session of the 31st Legislature will commence on Wednesday, March 28. The session is scheduled to run until May 30. While the Government House Leader did not provide an overview of the government’s priorities for the legislative session, amendments to the Municipal Government Act (MGA) and Local Authorities Elections Act (LAEA) are likely forthcoming.
Budget 2024
The provincial government's annual budget is set to be delivered on Thursday, February 29. As usual, ABmunis will conduct a detailed analysis and will host a webinar for members on the afternoon of March 1.
