Agenda for President’s Summit on Future of Municipal Government

Alberta Municipalities is busy securing speakers and finalizing details for our President’s Summit on the Future of Municipal Government. The Summit will take place in Edmonton on March 29 and 30. It will be held in conjunction with Municipal Leaders Caucus (MLC), which will start on the afternoon of March 30 and continue on the morning of March 31, 2023.

We have released an initial agenda for the Summit to give you a sense of what to expect over the day and half of interactive sessions. Registration will open in early February for both the Summit and MLC, but we encourage you to hold the dates now to share lessons learned on collaboration and help shape recommendations as to the policies, tools, and resources needed to strengthen collaboration into the future.
