AUMA voices support for Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion Project

This week, AUMA sent a letter to Prime Minister Trudeau in support of the Kinder Morgan Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion Project. The letter, signed by 167 Alberta Mayors from cities, specialized municipalities, towns, villages, and summer villages, showed that the project has broad support and many communities recognize the potential benefit from both economic and environmental perspectives. In the coming week AUMA will be undertaking a number of initiatives to demonstrate municipal support for the project, the jobs it will create, and the positive impact it will have on our economy.
