Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Virtual Town Halls

Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP) is hosting EPR virtual town hall meetings to inform and engage stakeholders about the development of EPR programs for Hazardous and Special Products (HSP), Paper Products and Packaging (PPP), and Single-Use Plastics (SUP). 

All virtual town hall meetings will take place from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

• May 27, 2022 - PPP/SUP Designation
• June 17, 2022 - EPR Transition and Implementation Plan
• July 8, 2022 - Collection and Competition (PPP and HSP) 
• July 22, 2022 - Municipal Contracts and Infrastructure Assets
• August 19, 2022 - EPR Oversight
