Municipalities invited to complete national brownfield survey
Canadian Brownfield Network (CBN) is conducting a national brownfield survey project via Ryerson University. CBN is a national organization, founded in 2004, whose members consist of stakeholders in brownfield redevelopment – governments, engineers, planners, developers, and their advisors.
The project is to assess the progress of the recommendations from the National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy report on brownfield development in Canada, and it is designed to gain an understanding of respondents’ brownfield activities, the successes they have had and the barriers or challenges they have encountered.
The outcome of the project hopes to provide a comprehensive snapshot of what is happening in Canada at multiple levels of government, the private sector, and at the community level.
The web-based survey takes around 30 minutes to complete.
