UPDATE: President’s Summit and Municipal Leaders’ Caucus

Alberta Municipalities’ President’s Summit on the Future of Municipal Government is bringing together municipalities of all sizes and types from across Alberta to discuss opportunities to improve intermunicipal collaboration. There will be interaction between participants throughout the Summit to share tips and discuss ideas. We will also look at ways to amend policies and legislation to improve mechanisms that support collaboration.

Registration for the Summit includes ‘The Future is Funny’ dinner on the evening of Wednesday, March 29, featuring comedians Peter Brown, who hosted the packed and highly rated ‘Laughing Matters’ session at our 2022 Convention, and Donavon Workun, who knows where every A&W across Alberta is located and just happens to be a three-time World Improv champion!

The President’s Summit will take place on March 29 and 30. It will be held in conjunction with Spring Municipal Leaders’ Caucus (MLC), which will run from 1 p.m. on March 30 until noon on March 31. The MLC will give members more chances to learn, have fun and gear up for the 2023 Provincial Election.
